Hey brian, ya I do keep my robo at 1500, I changed it up to do that video of the cleaning and today as to be ready for a tourny. Yet other then that my robo is never under 1200. I usally take it 800 and then hit it with a 2000 abralon pad. So it is somewhere between 1200-2000 after that. Yet it can handle its share of oil with that cover but it is also great for when I am just seeing a little to much over/under on a mid oil shot. I would go with the robo, I mean now that you are considering it. The mean machine is a great ball but like carl said will be happy to know you have it in the bag just in case. I know I feel happy knowing I got my 16LB 320grit Rule GP2 (I use 15lb so I roll it slower, so it hooks extra) in the bag if I need it. (lol)
