Slash, being dull, reads the laner sooner than the Blast. Slash has less backend overall and I would call it a more even ball than the Blast. The Blast comes polished from the factory, gets good length, and is an even reacting ball as well...just in a different way than the Slash!

Clint,

How different is the blast from a crash? I have a crash that around 800 grit, with CG in nutral position and pin under ring finger.

It looks to me like the blast may have a tad more flare, but not sure until I see it.

I will be drilling one up for myself tonight. I am interested to see how well it does in comparison with the Slash. I am looking for my new benchmark ball.

I think the Blast is more even (remember how many people said the Crash was over/under....I have yet to see it with the Blast...used it again practicing on broken down THS shot behind a 5 lady per team league...EESH!) Ball is smooth and has some pop at the back!

With your Crash being 800 grit, the Crash is probably going to be sooner than the Blast. Too bad I still didn't have a Crash, I would do a side by side comparison for you.

That is why I brought it down to 800 grit. Got rid of the over under. I'm thinking of something new for my gf maybe at the end of league before summer. Currently she is throwing a hybrid. The problem is the hybrid revvs earlier than I'd like for her. Looking to give her something with more length and backend, but not like huge or anything.
