I have no idea why I am so intrigued by this ball, probaly by pure aesthetic appeal.  I do think I am going to order one, just to try out.  How much oil OOB does this highly polished ball handle?  I remember Peak Particle solid being very smooth and continuous with polish but this seems like a different cover than the Arsenal Aggressive.  I am looking for something I can get left with in carrydown when the track blows up on the outside but the oil is pushed down in the middle.  I was thinking of a lengthy drill with a strong PSA placement, but a surface change to 2500 or 4000 abralon.  I am trying to get a reaction similar to the old Phenom Unleashed(I have a review for it) and this looks like the best replacement.

Has anyone went with a lower grit and saw good results in that type of enviornment?

I've had an Inertia now about 3 weeks.  I laid it out pin next to right and above ring 75 deg. layout MB right of thumb 1.50"s.  I am a medium speed tweener.  Bought it for a THS that can be slightly over/under side to side with fresh backends that carry down after game and a half....lane surface Brunswisk Anvilane both first and second generation.  1st generation is worm more in the track area.  

Tried it OOB but found it to squirty.  Then, I tried it 2000 abralon which calmed it down very nice strong arcing ball.  Now, I have it at 500 grit sanding lines w/ track with a slight amount of polish.  <I find that for me most abralon finishes don't hold up all three games and pick up lane shine after 1st game.......I also keep an RG Saturn this way.>  Best finish that stays that way are low grit finishes with a slight amount of polish over.  I think, I like this finish the best for the Inertia for my technique, ball speed and lane condition.  It cetainly makes the ball fit my game really well.  Very nice strong arc and great carry.

Great reply.  I've been looking at the motion of the Black Widow, Apogee, and new Horizon solid and they all have this never roll out strong arc motion to them, but are still controllable off the spot.  I'm looking for 3 or 4 of this type of motion out of a few different balls with different covers.  I might be onto something here.  Any staffers wanna chime in?

I have an Inertia and have a tame drill on it. Pin under bridge, mb 1" left of thumb. I wanted a ball to get down lane to roll through carry down and this ball does just that. This cover is strong off the dry, but when carrydown is present, there's enough bite to get it into a roll.

If the track area opens up and the oil carries down, I usually move inside the track area and let the ball roll through. It is a very smooth, controlled reaction for me.

I'd recommend picking this ball up. Keep in mind, the cover and core are very versatile too.
