Title: Is a Rule too strong?

I'm currently looking at something for Medium conditions, and have the opportunity to pick up a Rule. Is this going to be too strong Out of box for these lane conditions?

Depends on drilling and style i am having problems with mine because of the drilling and my style,im not the person to ask about drilling, just telling you my experiences, most people like them on a good medium.

Rule is geared toward the medium conditions, but I agree as it will also depend on how it is drilled for how you throw. What the ball did for someone else may do totally different for you. Plus, you could always tweak the cover if you are not totally happy with it right away.

The Rule with the proper drill and surface prep could easily fit in the medium lane conditions category. There is natural length built in to this ball unless you get it to the dry too quickly.

Your style makes it sound like you could use a Rule for mediums. However, I'd consult an expert of two for a proper drilling for its asymmetric core. See Excaliber or tenpinspro here, if your local driller is not up to the task. Give them your stats, which current balls work for you, etc. etc. They'll put you in the right "neighborhood".
