Title: Is there a way for the Phenom Unleashed to hook early?

Even if you drill the Unleashed with the pin under the ring finger can you get the Unleashed to roll earlier, and possibly create more hook potential?

The location of the MB is going to determine majority of the reaction on these balls. For earlier movement you will have to move the MB closer to your VAL and maybe even up closer to your PAP.




ON EDIT:
OR as Mr Track stated, try the surface adjustment. Surface is usually everything in the way a ball reacts.

AvenueStory,

if you've already drilled the ball, sand the ball down(800 or 600) it will make the ball roll earlier and change the entire "hook potential"

Hey Ave,

Ex and Mr Track are correct but if you want real early roll, you can even place the mb out past your val, just tried it on my new Havoc and Animal.  Just one question, where is your mb located now on your Unleashed?

Ten,
 I haven't purchased a Phenom Unleashed yet, I was deciding on whether or not
I want a Phenom or a Phenom Unleashed.  I like the characteristics of the Unleashed but I would want it to roll earlier.

Hey Ave,

Based on what I've personally seen with customers, myself and Walter Ray, I'd go with the Unleashed, especially if you want more versatility.  You can take down the cover and it'll read med-heavy very well and if you ever need it to go a little longer, just coat it with some Magic Shine and all it does is go longer and then come charging back.  Make sure you do place the mb in the proper position though, it's makes a huge difference in reaction on Track's asymmetrical cores(Morpheus)..(copyright A. Chapman).  Hope this helps...
