I haven't bowled much in the past few weeks (home improvements and golf) but I have thrown the new balls a few times.  I'll be bowling quite a bit in the next few weeks so I'll have more info then (and these impressions may change once I hit a few more surfaces and patterns).

Arsenal Reactive:  Pin is 5 1/2" (same as Aggressive) right on my center line below the fingers.  CG is 4 1/2".  I was going to put a weighthole 2 1/4" below axis just like the Aggressive but I like the movement right now.  Lightly polished with Clean N Sheen.  Wow!  The motion on this ball fits my eye so well.  You can see it pick up in the midlane and it's just a freight train after that.  No strong change of direction but it is strong and continuous. Definitely a different look than the Aggressive with a tad more pop at the backend.  I could get a tad deeper with the Reactive than the Aggressive.  The carry is REALLY, REALLY good.  I predict a big hit with this one.

Solution PP:  4 1/2 x 4 with XH on the axis.  Nice smooth roll.  Good midlane with an arcy recovery.  Surely a candidate for a benchmark ball.  Sort of a longer Slash but as smooth.

Solution Ex: 5 x 4 with XH at 45* angle from center of grip to VAL at 3" deep.  Wow!  This ball can turn the corner.  It's not sudden change like an Xception, but it can wheel when it sees friction.  I went with the low hole to get it to read a little better.  It clears the heads well and then it's strong after that.  Definitely longer and sharper than the PP. Think Hex marries Crunch Time (I think you'll like this one charlest )

I plan on comparing them to other balls in the next couple of days (i.e. Solution EX vs Heat).  But the Solution and Heat series offer plenty of bang for the buck (for those complaining about Track and low price equipment).  But the Reactive is one sweet rolling ball.

Is that 5x4 on the Solutions EX, with the pin over or under the bridge?
(I think it's under.)

I may have a GREAT experiment as I just got hold of a NIB Crunchtime with
a 2 3/4" pin! It was just too good to be true.
Will order a Sol EX immediately.  .... Just ordered one.

Did the reactive go as long as the angular, or does it fit between the angular and aggressive as far as length?

Dj:  It doesn't go as long as the Angular.  It starts up very quickly but the pearl/solid combo cover prevents it from hooking too early.  It's one of those core vs cover (low RG vs particle) on how early it hooks.  Initially it seems like it goes a tad longer than the Aggressive but I plan on hitting both with the 1500 grit and comparing in the next few days.

Wylie: It's a good fit between the two.  It handles more oil than the FAZ and although it might not be more angular than the FAZ (because of the low RG), it will still allow more recovery and continuation.
