WOW did this thread get hijacked in a major way.
OK...here is the situation. A company can produce what they want to produce. Ebonite feels that single density is whats best to produce. There are FAR fewer quality control issues out of Hoptown than there were out of San Antonio.
Any one remember the Bonanzas that were created out of the old plant? Those balls were simply balls that did not pass QC. It is just a fact that when you piece things together and they are glued that there will be some production issues. How can someone tell if the flip block or even MB pieces shifted or didn't while the ball was curing?
The old equipment was not bad, I do not believe that is what is being said here. I had very good success with alot of the equipment from back then, as did many other bowlers.
freak,
You are correct.....we cannot promote the new brand by bashing the old brand. If those balls were bad then I do not believe any of us would have continued throwing Track. The way I see it is very simple: staff member or not, I want the best equipment in my hands when I am bowling, so if I did not think that they were great I wouldn't have been throwing those balls.
