Is Track?
« on: December 10, 2006, 01:04:29 PM »
Sleeping or not? I mean most other company's have came out with the latest greatest pieces, and Track has released one ball the Power Machine, which does not have alot of ratings out there that people have thrown it..

Is Track going to step it up?

hehe. i sure heard a lot of ratings around here on the Power Machine.. i absolutely LOVE mine! awesome ball, great hitting power. it actually hits off the dry at my center so hard it leaves 8s and 9s. it's crazy! but at the same time it's a great ball.. New release from Track around the january-febuary time just wait and see!!

The Power Machine "not having alot of ratings"? Simply put it is only the greatest ball on the market right now!

I agree with the Power Machine.  Being my first Track Ball, it instantly outshined every other ball I own the first time I threw it.  Has anyone here that has tried it NOT liked it?

The Power Machine has drawn much attention in my area.  Having Big Wes be able to use it on the show has been great to see as well.

Not sure exactly of Phil's intentions on releases but being a shop owner, we have communicated to all manufacturers to slow down on releases.  Too many balls on the market isn't always good for sales or the consumer.  Do you buy every latest ipod, cell phone..etc?  That causes a burden to the store in inventory which then also causes a burden to distributors.  If you haven't sold out of one item and have to stock the next one in a month?...very tough thing to do.

It takes me about a good month to see how well a ball works for the bowling community so if I get another release right after that, it makes it difficult to help my customers properly to make sure it will fit into their game.  Which do you prefer, quantity or quality?

Yes, I do understand all of what you are saying.

The change in the CEO thing was the biggest thing for me. Having learned the game from Del, and having his releases selling hot and very productive scores with it, to Phil who was the ex CEO.

Now, I know Phil can design a great ball, but I was wondering how long it would take.

And seriously seeing 1 Track person throw the Power Machine doesn't give it alot of rating. I can see Parker Bohn and Rash and all those Brunswick guys Throwing the Total Inferno way more than I see anyone throwing Track.

All I was asking is that are they going to be the most innovative like they were during the summer?

And if you are wondering - I am comparing Track to Ebonite and Hammer by their new releases and great ratings.
