Just won a Mean Machine...
« on: July 24, 2006, 06:36:50 PM »
Couldn't believe it. Sixcranker PMed me to tell me I'd won Track's Ball-A-Day giveaway; sure enough, there I was. I've already got a pin-down Machine and as much as I'd like to try a pin-up Machine, I picked the Mean Machine and I can't wait to get it.

I can't believe they're really running that promo but I'm glad they are, no doubt. I can't say whether it will damage their bottom line to keep giving away these balls but it's a heckuva public relations push.

CONGRATS!!!!!

Del has been busy with trade shows, etc...so you can ask one of us here for help if Del is still traveling when you get your ball ready to drill.

Thanks, guys.

I requested the longer pin option on the ball (4-5.5 inches) because I've always seemed to have better luck with those, especially balls that lean towards heavier oil conditions. But obviously, it's free and I'll take whatever they send me.

I'm right-handed, about 250-300 revs, mid-tracker, mostly throw around 16-17 mph, and I prefer to stay right of fourth arrow regardless. I'm not good at gutter cap bowling. If I have to go left of there, I'll change equipment.

Jess,

Congrats bud!!!

The machine and the Mean Machine are a powerful combo!!!!! I wouldn't be afraid to go with the pin above the fingers on the mean Machine.
