My comments are simple:

There is nothing out there that turns the corner like the Kinetic!

Though it's only been one game,  I'm quite surprised with the reaction of my Kinetic.  Unfortunately, that's not a good thing as there was no reaction.  However, I'll give it some more games before I set my final opinion of this ball.

Well, that's why I said I'm gonna give it some more games, as the lanes were fried, my wrist still isn't 100%.  I was guaranteed different results on at least a reasonable lane condition.

if you don't have enough oil in the heads the ball burns off too much energy and the back end goes bye bye.

And this is true.  But my PM stayed flippy, and didn't burn out in the backends.  I truthfully think I got shafted on a poor layout(which was totally different than what I asked for) by a shop that absolutely hates that I don't buy my equipment from them.

Here is the layout that I got:

He said with my PAP, etc, that I would still get the"Stronger flip than my Power Machine" result I was looking for....

But as I said, I will remain patient and try on better conditions.

Yep after seeing that. I would've went with the same layout as your Power Machine as well. Or at least put the pin further from your PAP so it retains more energy down the lane. (I'm not blaming you for this)

But again, let's just see what happens next time..

I think with you're pap the ball should have great backend the way it's drilled.I would have placed the pin a little closer to the ring finger but I track a little lower then you.give it time and try to find some oil before you give it thumbs down.

Yeah I will.  I may have jumped the gun a bit.  I think it's due to me just being irritated with my shop.

X,

UNFORTUNATELY I would not have gone with a layout like that. That is a very early rolling type layout and judging by your PAP I would say the pin is 3 3/4 from PAP or closer. That is not a "flip" layout by any means. The pin position on your PM is further from your PAP which means it should retain energy better down lane.

Yep, that's exactly what I was thinking, Carl. Well hopefully you still have some luck with it! It's still gonna hook a ton, just not flip really hard in the backend. I wouldn't worry too much!

i concur carl.  my pap is 5 3/4" and that would be about 4" to me.  ball is too strong and early for you to be lookig for a flip on the backend.  i'd ask for them to fix it.  what type of layout did you ask them for?  cause if you asked for a different layout(lets say like your PM) and they drilled it different, i would find someone else and have them fix the kinetic.  i hate hearing stories like this where people ask for one drilling and get another!
