So.. my wed night league has incentive money for people throwing saws. They are doing a 200$ per award score shot, but only one cash per night... no double cashing for a 300/800 set.

So the situation is...

Me and my good old eq2 are running amok on this shot (currently averaging close to 230)..

Would you consider buying a saw? If so which one?

Please don't answer with buy a kinetic.

Is your league sponsored by Lane#1?
That is a valid reason for such an award. Otherwise, Stick with your Equation ...

evolution would be a good fit to replace the eq2, the tsumani is great ball that rolls even.

Buy the saw...and when it doesn't work good then buy the Kinetic and a Temper for roughly the same as one ball

I would recommend sticking with the EQ2 since you are bowling me tonight. That and the fact you are averaging almost 230. But that is beside the point i guess lol.

If it was a super easy shot and I was a guy with a bunch of honor scores, I might punch one up and see what happens.  But since $200 is roughly the break even point on a high end ball including grips and drilling, I wouldn't bother for that reason alone.  If you've had the itch to see if you'd like one, now would be as good a time as any to experiment.
