Up-Rising Mini Review

Thanks to Track for that great party at the Palms, that has to be some of the greatest marketing ever invented and next time I decide to drill up a ball, it will be a Track one. Only thing I thought that was strange was all the giveaway balls were 15lbs, so I wasn't lucky enough to have mine scribed. After the party I got it switched for a 16lb and away we go. Hopefully for the next party there will be a handful of 16lb balls to be given away.

So, I was looking for something that would hook more than anything else that I have so I went with the #1 drilling on the spec sheet. Pin down and the MB 3 inches from my thumb. I also broke the cover and hit it with 4000 abralon wet. It shines back up quickly. This ball did what it said it would and that is hook. I didn't have a good look with it at the TAT and didn't use it too much out there. But when I got home I started to practice more and more with it. On my THS that normally I play 15 to 5 on with a Cell or Complete NV, I have been routinely playing 21 to 5-7. This ball flat out moves ore than I could have ever expected. The one drawback I thought I was going to have was carry, for the first 10 -15 games with the ball I couldn't carry anything, a little light, 10pin, a little high 6pin, but for the last 10 to 15 games I am starting to get those breaks so maybe I just needed to break it in a little more. Overall my #1 ball in my bag and pretty much the only ball I want to throw. Nice to see a ball hook this much but in such a controlled manner.

Looking forward to bowling on some PBA Patterns as I have plans to bowl the next two regionals in my area and I know this will be my ball of choice on Shark, and with the new changes to Cheetah, I think I will be using it on that as well.

Thanks again Track for you marketing genius and manufacturing such a great piece of equipment.
