Kinetic versus Equation
« on: October 10, 2007, 05:59:13 AM »
I bought an Equation last year at Christmas time and then proceeded 3 weeks later to bowl my first 800 (290, 267, 263) series. While I like the skid snap I get with the Equation, I usually struggle the first game or so until the lanes dry up a bit. I don't have a lot of stats to give you about my bowling style, but I have a medium low track, tweener style and average about 16 MPH.

I am looking for something that would pick up a little sooner in the first game but still give me that nice backend pop I am getting with my Equation. I was wondering if the Kinetic might fit that. If not, what would anybody suggest?

Thanks!

I don't see any reason why the Kinetic wouldn't fit what you are looking for, especially with a stronger pin-PAP distance and the right surface prep.

The Kinetic will not pick up quick enough. It will backnd but it will not pick up as fast. If you want the backend of your equation but maybe a little stronger in the mids and heads. I would say your best bet would be to get another Eqaution or the Temper.
