Hey bowl,

Our Temper is a very good benchmark ball for most.  It is designed out of box for med to med light conditions with a smoother backend reaction compared to our Kinetic.

I have one of mine drilled at Rico which offers me a very nice smooth and controlled reaction off the spot.  Hope this helps some...

By the way: being a smoother med-med/light ball, how's the Temper on Cheetah?

The temper is anything but a good light oil ball. You really have to have a tame layout and some cover work done for it to work on light oil oob.

Hey spinner,

We had a thread about this exact subject on Trackbowling.com  Lou F (one of our PBA Regional staff) liked his Rico drill on this pattern very much.  I also suggested my Leong-Hall drill for this pattern to help control the breakpoint once the ball gets out of the short (but heavy) oil.  Ball movement on this pattern as you know can be fairly violent once it encounters friction so we both came up with a couple of ways to help tame down the backend reaction.  Hope this helps some...
