This is what i know about them so far
- Kinetic is the stronger of the two
- Kinetic energy is a little more backend
- apparently the kinetic energy is more versatile
thats about all i know if you guys could give me some advice about these two and correct me about what i know at the moment.
AND ALSO
if you could tell me which you'd buy?

The Kinetic will be the one with the most backend, and will be better for playing deeper angles on the lane. The Kinetic Energy reads the midlane a bit sooner, has the same type of backend motion, but not AS much backend flip as the Kinetic.

ON EDIT: I forgot to answer your question of which one i'd buy.. If I were to buy one, it'd depend on where I needed a ball in my arsenal. But, if I bought either one straight out of the blue, I would buy the Kinetic Energy, because it seems like a good house shot ball, as long as it's not drilled TOO strong.

The original goes longer and has much more backend. That opens up the lanes a lot more but also makes it more susceptible to carrydown and to any inconsistencies in your release. It almost seems to have the reaction of a pearl.
The KE is earlier and mroe even reacting, still with plenty of backend. This places it closer to a control ball and to being a benchmark ball. As such, it is less susceptible to carrydown (not immune) and will be less likely to react badly when your release is not perfect.

I wouldnt say the Kinetic is the stronger of the two. It can make the corner harder but if you try to come across to much oil it will still turn but it might be to much angle. The KE is stronger overall, seeing how it handles the oil better. The KE will cover just a few more boards then the Kinetic, however the KE does it throughout the entire lane. The Kinetic covers all its boards in the backend.
Now because the KE handle oil better, this makes it a little more versital. I put my favorite layout on it much like Figs told us to at the training camp. The layout is Pin in ring finger, with everything just stacked. There isnt many shots I cant use the ball on. Now just because it is stronger overall doesnt mean it wont work for other reason. It is not a very condition specific ball. I like mine when my Rising is starting to roll out, and the Kinetic is just making the turn to hard. I pull out the KE stand the same spot as I was with the Kinetic and just take control of the backends. The KE is the perfect blend of the Kinetic and the Temper. You get the benchmark like consistant roll from the temper, but you still get some of the strong backend snap from the Kinetic.

I was fortunate enough to see one bowler that has both balls and from what I saw, Charlest is correct in what he said here. Also the KE handled oil much better as well as less susceptible to carry down as pointed out by Charlest.
I came "oh so close" to getting the KE for myself this past week feeling it might work well for me, before backing off and ordering a ball from another company instead

with your "problems" with some other balls, I bet the original Kinetic would perform better for your release than the KE. Since you don't have a lot of revs, it would not be as flippy but still have plenty of hit. HOWEVER, I don't know what the RG and differential would be for a 14 lb Kinetic, which was/is a concern for your Rapid Fire and Lanemasters balls.
