DRY HEAT OWNERS!!!!!
« on: February 10, 2004, 10:18:17 AM »
Hello, all.....

I have heard alot of people with concerns about the Dry Heat.  WELL......tonight, I wet sanded with a grey scotchbrite, then used Clean and Sheen over the top.  Granted...it still squirts a little in the carrydown (which a dry lane ball should), but it softened up the backend reaction once it hit the dry.  BEAUTIFUL THING!!!  Also, did not sacrifice hitting power either.  Owners of this ball complained of too much reaction off the dry.  I am thinking about trying some Clean and Smooth next week and see what happens before I go to Reno for the ABCs.  I will keep you all posted on what I find out.

I have a 5 1/2 by 1/2 inch up for my PAP.  The ball is drilled with the pin above the bridge and the cg kicked just outside of the grip.  The pin is a 3 inch pin with 3 ounces of top weight.  Final numbers I believe are 5 by 3.  I hope this helps you out.  If you need anything else, please let me know.  10pin.  Thanks for the love.  I will try not to disappoint.
