I am very curious to hear what you guys think of the strike machine. I just won one on ebay and I have no clue on what to expect from teh nano tread cover... its pin under the bridge and cg out a bit with no hole here is a pic.

Well...I have not drilled one yet, BUT, in general, that ball layout is my favorite! It picks up a good midlane roll...not too early, but yet turns the corner....

Well Im hoping this will be a stronger, but longer ball. I want it to be a step under my Black Widow. Recently I have had the need to stand in front of the ball return from the second game on with it, and I dont like that lol. I dont want to take the cover back up because the BW is perfect for the floods, so Im wanting this to be just under it. If I rember correctly the nano tread is supposed to be really strong right? If not I guess Ill just sell it and get another BW and drill it pin up and leave it OOB if its not what I need lol.

I have a Strike Machine and its drilled 5x5. My pap is 4 3/4 up 1/4 which is close to yours from your profile. I feel this ball hits and carries very well. I have shot some decent games with it, and for a old man some good sets.

I took my ball and hit it with a used gray pad and feel the first 2 games the ball rolls very well. I do have to put it up for the 3rd game as the 10 pins come. I have another nib sitting here waiting to get drilled and will go with a more aggressive drilling.

I don't know how much hand your put in your shot, but I feel if you leave it box, it will do what your wanting. I just thought I should include my layout. Its drilled with the pin just left and in the ring finger and the MB is just left and in the thumb. I am right handed.

Hope this helps. I hate seeing someone post and no one responding.

HEY MATT!

I have to admit that the Strike Machine did NOT give me the backend reaction that I seen from the videos I watched before purchasing the ball. I may have threw the ball less than 3 games before selling it. I even tried re-plugging the ball to see if it was the layout as the reason to why I was having trouble getting it to hook on the backend. Both layouts showed me that the ball was way too smooth. Thus, this ball just didn't match up well to my game. Hopefully this helps you some buddy! If you purchase, I hope you find success with it. To me, it just didn't give me the reaction I was expecting it to have. God Bless You and have a great week!
