Hey six,
If you watch the rising video I put on here, you see that I am nowhere near being a stroker or tweener. I am a cranker and well, the suggested layout is great. The 4000 cover helps it get down the lane on a fresh shot. However you will need to pull the speed up when they start to transition or even drop down to the temper or kinetic.
I however go to a pin up rising when this happens. The length is the same, the over all hook is maybe at the most 3-4 boards less but the biggest change is the backend of the pin up is alot tammer and you wont see as strong of a jump off the dry when you hit it. The suggested is a great layout for anyone. Just be ready to drop to a weaker ball when the oil goes away or get ready to start adding more speed or even lift up with the thumb to push the ball further on the lane.
