layout questions
« on: June 07, 2006, 06:10:01 AM »
Here's the deal...I am thinking about getting a Solution PP EX, and an Arsenal Angular.  I throw the ball about 15 - 16 mph with medium high revs.  The reaction I'm looking for is a sharp snap on the end.  I was wondering what ideas you all had for a layout on these two balls.  I want them to be similar reaction, but not overlapping too much.  Looking at playing late shift leagues, and late games in tourneys.  Also, what would you order as far as top weight and pin.

Thanks in advance

Hey Brunner,

Both balls naturally have the characteristic of length and backend you're looking for.  I'd keep the pins on both above your ring with cg underneath it is fine.  Just remember to shift out left and down a little to help create some positive static.

Recommended pins would be about 3-5 and top 3+.  The pin distance varies upon what your span is.
