Cracked Cover

I am going nuts because last night when I got to league, I pulled out my Mutant Mania to find that there was a 4 inch long crack starting at the middle finger hole migrating to the left towards my track. I am very upset about this because the Mutant Mania is a hard to find ball and I absolutely love this ball. I have no idea how this happened. I didn't leave the ball in my car or expose it to extreme hot/cold temperatures. The ball didn't hit anything in the gutter or anything like that when I threw it. I just don't understand how the cover could just crack like that! I need to replace this ball with a new one. Oh well, now I must begin the journey to find another one....

I work in the Aircraft repair industry, we use a tactic call a Stop Drill, this may work for you or it may not. this is just an experiment, take your mania to a pro shop and have a Pilot hole drilled where the Crack has ended, this may prevent the crack from traveling further, then have the Proshop guy Drip plugging material in the Pilot hole back towards the Middle finger hole. It's no guarantee but this may stop the crack from going all the way around. If none of this is possible, then I'd say "Rock", go buy a Robo Rule or a machine and give the Mania a proper burial at the DUMP!

That's a real good idea. I think I will try that method. If it works, many thanks and praises to you. If not, I will probably go buy a Machine. I think that ball is most similar to the Mutant Mania. Thanks again. I will let you know the outcome.
