New Ball...
« on: July 15, 2007, 10:17:31 AM »
I'm currently in a ball league that ends in August.  Just wondering what your opinions are on which ball to get.  I currently have a mean machine oob 75degree layout, a machine oob 45degree layout and a heat oob label leverage.  What do you guys think I should get?  I was thinking possibly an equation or the rising.  Opinions?

If the league ends in August, you won't need the Rising.  Release date for the Rising is - what was it again?  Sometime in mid August though.

Nope.  It's actually September 10th.  Might work on NEXT year's league though!

Is everything else working well in the league?  Do you NEED another ball?

Ryan,

I would suggest adding a Kinetic. It will give you a totally different look on the lane than the MM and the Machine and it will be much stronger at the breakpoint than the Heat.

Hey Ryan,

I agree, I just got a chance (after travelling and playing catch up at the shop) to see how versatile our Kinetic is.  It literally offered me multiple angles to attack a shot from.  Ron H and Randy T in R&D have done a fantastic job with ball!  I need to request a couple of more to apply different layouts on...great piece.

Spinner, The league is pretty laid back, as I could wait for the rising...and who really "Needs" another ball...lol

Carl/Rick What kind of layout do you suggest for the kinetic?

I'd suggest a 60-75 degree layout with the pin above grip for you as that will offer the most versatile positioning (not too early rolling and not too late).  It's a strong ball but not too strong, a little hard to explain but I'll be putting up vids as soon as I get approval from HQ or the vids may be appearing on our website.
