Title: Looking for help on a GP2
Post by: bowlingforfun on February 22, 2007, 01:00:55 AM
Just wondering if there is anything I can do to get this ball to work for me.  Right now it don't turn much at all.  I personally think it drilled to aggressive. I have try polish.  My pap is 4 1/2 over, speed is 18ish. rather speed dominate.  I think there is enough oil for it I have my Angular one down to 1000 abrasion to get it to work.  Just wondering what someone else thought.  redrill it, weight hole, or just pitch it.

What kind of reaction are you seeing from it?

That ball should be rolling pretty early with the mb placement.

Personally I had to polish up my gp2 to make sure it wasn't burning up.

I am looking any reaction.  I think it might be burning up but not sure.  I have tryed polish but no change.  I thought about having it redrilled but want sure how or if a weighthole might be a cure.  My driller isn't familiar with track products.

Hey bowlingforfun,

Based on your pap (4 1/2 over), this layout looks to be about 2.25-2.5x 4.5-5 mb?  That pin is too close to pap for a strong reaction.  You can plug it and move the pin further back and away from pap to get more length and backend finish.  Let me know what I can do to help, thanks.
