Similar to FAZ?
« on: December 13, 2006, 10:19:45 AM »
Hey guys, out of the balls in the current Track line up, which one
is most similar to the FAZ?  According to specs alone, the Artillery
looks to be the answer... Does anyone have experiences to prove
other wise?  Thanks!

The Artillery is much earlier reving than the Freakazoid with pretty similiar backend characteristics.

In my opinion the Heat Blast is probably the closest reaction...though it is still a tad different than the FaZ.

I'm also looking to replace my FAZ. Pin under bridge, cg in palm. It was my go-to/benchmark/control piece, but it has alot of games on it and needs updating. I wasn't sure if Track made something similar. With what Carl said, I'll be looking into a Heat Blast, however, how different are the FAZ and Heat Blast? If I drilled a Heat Blast the same as the FAZ, what differences would I notice?

The FAZ is somewhat between the Artillery and Heat Blast for me.  My Artillery revs a little more like Carl said and handles oil a touch better where as the Heat Blast is a little weaker than my FAZ.  I'd get an Artillery and drill it a little weaker as it is always easier to weaken a stronger ball vs trying to increase strength on a weaker piece.
