Looking to replace...
« on: December 01, 2006, 01:53:08 AM »
Just looking for some suggestions. I'm currently looking to replace my Jekyll and Throttle-R, both are burned out. I'm 20 years old, throw about 16-18 mph, depending on conditions. I put a fair amount of revs on the ball and stay behind the ball well.

I'm going to get rid of the Big Bully because it overlaps my arsenal too much but I'm looking to fit two balls between my Arsenal Artillery and Desert Heat. I need one ball that reads midlane very well and is a nice smooth arc that drives through the pocket. Also looking for a ball that goes long with a lot of backend.

Let me know what you guys think or if another ball would fit into my arsenal. Also if you could include some drilling suggestions as well that would be great.

Well to replace your Jekyll and Throttle R, go with the HyJinx, this ball will react.
As for your second request look at The Action Max, or the Total Inferno, but are really good balls

Hey uwec,

The guys have given you the 2 perfect balls for the reaction shapes requested.  I agree completely with the Equation, that is a must ball for any med condition.  It's very clean thru the fronts with a great finish on the backend.

The Inertia may need some surface changing if you want it to fit between the Artillery and Desert.  It can simply be done with a weaker mb placement and maybe a lite polish and it'll fit where you want.

Can you try and get your pap info from your local shop?  That piece of info helps us tremendously in suggesting a layout, thanks.

Definately the Inertia and Equation. They both fit exactly what you say you want.

Hey guys,

Thanks for all the suggestions. I come back from a bowling tournament and did some reading, what do you guys think of this for an arsenal.

Heavy: Mean Machine
Medium Arc: Arsenal Artillery
Medium skid/flip: Equation
Light: Desert Heat
Spare

Let me know what you think or what you might change.
