Looking to the future.....
« on: March 15, 2007, 06:38:41 PM »
We have had threads like this in the past, but I think with the "reincarnation" of Track it is due to be done again.

If you could name the next release....what would you call it? Would there be a particular reaction that you would want out of it? Would you prefer to have asymmetrical or symmetrical?

In the past threads posted (probably a couple of years ago now) I have always wanted to have Track release a ball named "Carnage". I am sticking with that. It is tough and it is what we all want to see when the ball has left the pindeck.

Reaction....with a name like "Carnage" I think it would have to be a ball that has an unbelieveable move in the backend.....without sacrificing midlane.

Hopefully it would be asymmetrical. A strong asymmetrical ball is what most of us "LEGION" members long to see. I think the Carnage should offer that.

Think anyone would get upset with the name FEE-NIX or one that rolls just like it.

I still believe a ball with no name on it would be dope.

I for one am very interested to see what kind of direction Ebonite takes with the Track brand.  I expect they will try to appease the loyalists while bringing it into a whole different direction.  I love the Meanie I got (my first Track) and now have a Power on the way.

One thing I think they'll do is have a stronger assymmetric core, though it isn't something I'd be interested in.  I do hope they keep the focus on more mildly assymmetric cores along with it.  I had success with the Mean where I've never had success with strongly assymmetric stuff like the Big One, Big Deal or the Widow.

Mr. Lebowski, this is Bill Salnicker with the Southern Cal Bowling League, and I just got a, an informal report, that a member of your team, uh, Walter Sobchak, drew a firearm during league play. If this is true of course, it contravenes a number of the league's by-laws, and article 27 of the league...
