I've had both for about 3 weeks now and am very impressed with both balls.
Machine:
Layout is pin above the bridge, cg shifted 1 1/2 - 2 inches from center of grip. MB is thumb positive.
1/2 ounce tw and finger, 3/8 side.
I heard from the rep this was a 5.0 on steroids and that's a pretty close assessment. This ball has a very heavy mid lane roll. I've read some people talk about the back end potential of this ball and I just haven't seen that. But, based on how far my cg was shifted out of line with the pin and mb when I received it, I'm sure that didn't help. Head oil is a must or this ball will stand up based on the conditions I've been able to throw it on. I'm going to order another one and drill it closer to a 6 inch pin in hopes of being able to use this on drier house patterns and sport conditions. The hit with this ball is incredible.
Artillery:
Pin above the ring finger and cg directly under the ring.
Didn't weigh the ball based on the layout.
Wow! This ball really moves in the backend. There's been several people in my area throwing The One. I think this ball has just as strong a move as that ball. With head oil and some back ends - look out. For me anything short of a medium-heavy pattern and this balls going back in the bag. Another arsenal ball for me when the oil is heavier or I get pushed inside and need to open the lane up. I really hope this ball gets some exposure. For the Track fans looking for something to open the lane up, this is your ball. Find the oil line and have fun crushing racks.
