Got the chance to finally get to my pro shop this afternoon and drill up my new Solution Power Plus Ex. We went with a 3 3/4 X 4 1/2 layout, pin above middle finger, no weight hole required. Took it out to the lanes at the pro shop for 3 games. Gets plenty of length for my game and makes a strong turn in the back part of the lane- stores energy very well and crushes the pins. Seemed to carry light hits as well as pocket hits, flush hits tended to leave more 10 pins than anything else. The ball also seemed pretty adaptable to hand release and speed release changes, as I tried angles from 15-8 as well as 20 out to 5 depending on ball speed and hand release and still could carry convincingly.

Another winner in the Track line, I'll report more as I get more games on this.

Evolution Tag Team Member # 1

Update: Based on the second session I had with this ball, I think it will be a keeper in my current league arsenal. I got the chance to bowl 3 games with it on a Saturday afternoon broken down THS (after 2 sets of youth leagues had bowled on it from morning to early afternoon) at my normal league house (wood lanes). I was able to play an inside out shot (15-7) with no problem getting the ball to push through the front part of the line and make a sharp arc at the back without overreacting off the drier portions of the lanes. Carried a lot of higher hits on my house shot than I did at my pro shop house (tripped a couple of 6 pins). When I made mistakes left of target, the ball would float out there and tend to leave wide open messes (3-7-9 variety), but that's to be expected based on the medium to medium-light conditions this ball handles.

Can't wait to see how this ball will be on the fresh shot when I get the chance to try it for the third time on Monday night.
