I was talking with someone yesterday about purchasing a ball that would be below my Absolute Inferno, for when it starts to break too hard and too early. They suggested that I drill a Machine and drill it to go long. I am basically an avg player all around (revs, speed, and axis of rotation). Can anyone tell me what surface the Machine comes in (I know compound-polish but I need the grit) and I would appreciate if you would share your opinions on whether or not this is the right choice for this spot in my arsenal.

The Grit on the Machine before the compound is applied is 1000-1200.
I think it will fit as long as it is laid out weaker than the Absolute.
