Machine Layout, help for a friend..
« on: August 31, 2006, 10:14:32 AM »
Hey everyone, topic says it.. the specs are..

Machine
16#
3-3.5 inch PIN
2 1/2 TW
MB inline with PIN and CG

My friend's dad throws pretty fast. I think around 20mph, but he lofts it also. Probably slower to medium revs. I don't know his PAP, but i recommended a Machine to him, because of my lanes pattern. He said he wants it to be a Big Hook. The ball he's throwin now is a burgandy hammer , so he sort of needs a new ball.

Hopefully someone can help here, without his PAP. I was thinking PIN below the RING with MB to the right of the thumb? Just a simple layout nothing special.

I would drill it with the pin directly below the bridge and swing the cg almost straight right just a little lower.  I have seen people that generally throw straignt down and in with little hand get a monster backend reaction with this drilling.  It will probably end up being something like a 5x3 or 5x2 drilling.
