Machine or Artillery

Which would be better for a Med-Dry shot.  Looking for a ball for this type of shot and was wondering if either one would do.  Really would love to have some length to it.  Thanks.

Both too strong, unless you put a heavy coat of polish on or drill it weak (which defeats the purpose of the ball).  Better would be the Solution PP EX or the Desert Heat.

I would have to agree the Artillery and machine are both too early for anything near dry. The Heat Blast and Desert are 2 good choices from the current line, and if you can find anything that is discontinued, the Ex as mentioned above was good, along with the Heat as well.

Agreed here to a point.  Lately I've drilled a few personal balls with a stronger cover but 6 inches from pap (pin over mid) to help create length but have enough surface to overcome any lite hang that gets pushed out and down the lane.  Understanding that usually we go to a weaker ball for drier shots to help clear heads but that same ball also now becomes more susceptible to any kind of carrydown or lite oil downlane and reduces our breakpoint area on the lane.  Just wanted to shed some light on another possibility of hitting a shot...
