Title: Machine vs. Xception 5.0
Post by: FastTracker33 on March 24, 2007, 10:53:57 AM
Can someone please explain the differences between these 2 in regards to the reaction they give? I see they are both Particle Pearls, but have a different core. I'm really in need of a Particle Pearl for the condition i bowl on, so i'd like to narrow it down to these 2. I'm bowling on a very weird " over/under " condition that all my equipment i have now doesn't work too well on. If you need any more info on how to compare these 2 balls then please ask! Thank you !

The 5.0 was my favorite ball when I had it. HOWEVER if I had to choose between it and the machine I would go with the machine. The coverstock on the machine is much more responsive to changes.

Had the machine and i really like it, it worked even better when i sanded it down a bit. Ive heard a lot of bad reviews on the 5.0. Either love it or hate it has been the norm...

I'd go with the Machine. More reliable and awesome in OOB condition.

I would go with the Power Machine or the Strike Machine. For me both handle over/under better than my reg Machine.
