Made the switch
« on: February 02, 2018, 01:11:15 PM »
Well after the past 3 years throwing Storm/Roto equipment, I have made the jump to throwing EBI products. I just think the Utah products weren't as consistent for me as I would have liked and my average suffered because of it. Don't get me wrong as I threw a few 300's with their stuff, but I couldn't seem to put consistent series together.

I am really liking from what I see from my EBI stuff so far and getting the last two pieces drilled tonight. My lineup will be the Track Alias, Hammer Gauntlet Fury, Ebonite Matrix, and the Track Tundra. I've been throwing the Fury and Matrix for a few weeks now and really like their motion and my scores have been much higher, including a 759 in a big local tournament and a 752 in the team event for our city tournament.  I feel like my lineup should handle most conditions, but any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I used Ebonite almost exclusively from the Nitro/R until about 2003, when I just wasn't feeling it anymore. For awhile there, it seems like their stuff just... Didn't roll well. I'm glad to see them making better equipment. The Mako turned my head and I'd consider putting holes in an Alias.

That's putting it gently. Ill be candid, the balls rolled like absolute shit. Save for the Gamebreakers. Now? They have at least 15 balls under their umbrella that are very good.
