Track Mako video review by Average Joe Reviews

Hello guys! It looks like this is the time of the year where all the bowling ball companies release their heavy oil monsters! Fortunately for us, we got our hands on the new Mako, the latest high performance ball by Track bowling.

The Mako core follows the successful i-Core 2.0 used on the Paradox series and is wrapped in the new QR-10 solid coverstock, providing the most traction in oil of any coverstock in the Track line up.

This ball is definitely strong! It hooks... And it hooks a lot! We could move farther left and the ball just kept coming back over and over again. This ball will be the perfect complement to the Paradox series.

Our tester had some issues while he first started using this ball on our THS. This ball was too strong for him with the out of the box finish, so he had to add some polish to use the ball on our house shot pattern, and still he had to keep the ball in the oil.

He had to give this ball some room to get to the pocket due to the cover and core strength. Misses inside went through the face, misses outside worked better for him since the ball still had enough energy to drive through the pins.

The Mako is definitely a heavy rolling ball, but even for how strong this ball reads the midlane, the ball still has a lot of energy down the lane, providing a strong and continuous backend motion.

This ball will be a great choice for heavy oil patterns and it will fit a lot of bowling styles, but it is also a great and versatile piece for house shot patterns for bowlers who are rev challenged or speed dominant.

Thank you for watching!
