mb should be marked by a picture of the core in it, at least all the other track balls that i have are, but i dont have a mean so not sure

MB is marked with the core picture, CG should be marked with a very small punch mark (like other Track stuff). It's REALLY small - but you'll see it.

I'll give you five bucks off 'cause you look like a guy who knows his BALLS!

Just scanning old posts, here.

Mine is 15# and it has "RC" in script type print.
I think you mean "BC" for "Breakpoint Control." I thought it was RC too (original Machine), but I looked at the sheet it came with in the box and it said "BC" so...

no he is talking about the MB is marked by RC.....it stands for Robo Core, it has that on it instead of a pic of the pic of the core

Once again, that's what I thought too. But I have the drill sheet right here in front of me, and it says "BC logo = the location of the preferred spin axis..."
On the ball, it does look like the "B" part of the logo could be an "R," which might make more sense because that's the name of the core, but it's not. If you think about it further, you'll wonder why they would call the mass bias the robo core.
-
It is "BC" for breakpoint control...please remember folks, any asym ball with a strong enough mb, we can dictate the "reaction shape" or "breakpoint" of that piece. That's what Track "specializes" in....matching the ball motion to each of you individually....
On edit: It is as spinner stated earlier...just giving credit where credit is due.

Anyone drillers in the B'ham, AL area that are members of the "Track Legion."
I am looking for someone that really knows these balls to drill my powermachine and possibly arsenal artillery sitting in the floor right now.
Thanks
Charles

Ask SteveAustin2808
He is in Huntsville and perhaps he can help you out or steer you in the right direction.

Chris Felts is my coach. Great guy. I have recommended him to several people. He stays very busy and is not a "Track Finatic."
We bowl in Trusseville about once a month. Great lanes and McCorvey's Pro Shop there is the best around IMO.
Want a student of Track balls to drill my next ball to match it up as close as possible to my style and the reaction I am looking for.
Thanks
Charles

Hey Charles, I'm in B'ham AL. I don't drill balls personally, but Alan or Chris Felts from McCorvey's usually drills mine and they always do a good job.
McCorvey's in Pelham @ Oak Mtn Lanes the phone number is 205-985-2007 - should be open in a few minutes. There is another McCorvey's at Lightning Strikes in Trussville, if you get a chance try that one first - its worth the trip. Best bowling house in the state by far.
Chris is hard to reach sometime, but Alan does a good job.
