Title: Mean Machine coverstock
Post by: JS on April 13, 2007, 04:01:30 AM
Is the MM a pearl particle or just a pearl resin?  BJ review says pearl particle; BTM says pearl resin.  Track site just said Fang LS Control.  Thanks.

Thanks for the replies.  It was confusing especially when I re-read the review in BTM.  They gave it a very high rating for Oil (9.5/9/8.5) which is unusual for a pearl resin and then the name of the cover is LS Control (which doesn't connotate big hook or oil loving to me).  I just ordered one and can't wait to get it out on the lanes.  Thanks again.

I had similar questions about the Mean when I first got it, why doesn't Track post the type of coverstock in addition to their unique "names."  JS--you'll probably find the Mean reacts a lot differently than you'd expect.  It's very smooth, with a heavy roll.  I LOVE mine right now.

Mr. Lebowski, this is Bill Salnicker with the Southern Cal Bowling League, and I just got a, an informal report, that a member of your team, uh, Walter Sobchak, drew a firearm during league play. If this is true of course, it contravenes a number of the league's by-laws, and article 27 of the league...
