I won a Track Machine off of eBay from Mike Scorggins, and this will be the 2nd Track ball I've ever thrown..and the first one in a while. (Arsenal Angular was the first one which was an x-out).
This ball is layed out with the pin directly below the ring finger, with the CG about 4-5" below that, the BC? is located to the bottom and left of the thumb, and there is an x-hole about 3" to the left of the thumb hole, approximately 1" on an diagonal from the BC?.
First question....is the Machine a good medium oil ball?
Second....the span is a little too long, and moving the fingers down wouldn't be an option due to where the pin is located. If I were to move the thumb up to fit my span, would it affect the drilling on this ball a lot? As far as where everything is located?
Third...what kind of reaction should I expect from a ball drilled this way? I can see that Mike is a low tracker, and I am a high tracker...any suggestions?
Thanks in Advance!
