What's the Temper going to be like?
« on: June 23, 2007, 10:48:53 AM »
Okay, so The Rising is Track's new soup ball, the Kenetic fills the middle-of-the-road category, but what of the Track Temper I hear about?

The Temper isn't going to be the skid/flip ball! The Kinetic is listed as maximum skid/flip and the Temper is listed as clean through the front with angularity on the backend. It's a balance of control and power with Track's Legion core shape and the new MP GEN 1 veneer. I hope this helps! Bruce

just read in the AMF forum that their new Heist will have the 10 core

The core in the Heist is not the 10 core.

i was just going by what AUS Lefty said in the AMF forum

he also said there was 2 different Heists coming out and they had different cores, maybe one of them is using the "10" core?

quote:
The Blue Heist has the Columbia 'ten' core, should be interesting...

The flyer I saw had 2 Heist, one was burgendy and one was blue, both had slightly different cores, not sure on the cover differences but I'm guessing one is pearl

Will check the flyer I have.  Balls are solid in colour and the label is a bit plain, I don't see it being a huge seller even if the balls are great.

If this ball has the legion core, then it looks like it will be a light oil/dry lane ball. A hockey puck core with a flip block on top. Kind of reminds me of a Power Groove. www.bowlingballreviews.com/ball.asp?ballid=3132 to see the core.

It is not going to have the Heat Core. Each of the new releases is going to have a new core......a core that was not in a ball that was released to the public.

It's not a Scout weight block! I've been looking at the pictures that Ebonite sent me and the name isn't a reflection of a previous core, they're all new cores. Thanks, Bruce

batbowler is correct (or should I say Bruce),  these ARE all new cores....

We couldn't use the name Legion because it was released overseas before I had a hand in this.

Thanks Rick,
All I can say is be patient! Mike Judy said in the testing of the new equipment, that if you took the labels off all the balls that you would know what you were throwing by the unique reaction and shape! Thanks, Bruce

No one was arguing whether they were new cores or not, the description I saw said "legion" core. So I looked up the Legion on another site, and it is identical to some of the Scout cores. If it is or if it is similar, then this may be a ball that Track has been lacking in their performance line for quite some time.

freak,

The Temper does not have a Scout Core bud...it is a performance core.
