Here are my two

Mean Machine:

With these drillings, what reactions would you expect on a medium-heavy second shift condition?

Before I answer is the speed listed in your profile off the hand or at the pin deck?
How did you calculate it?

Is the mb right next to thumb on the Mean? Both balls in med/heavy I'd say will still get down lane pretty cleanly with a very strong finish. The Aggressive which appears to have a little bit of a stronger drill is a little long for particle to begin with so I think the reactions will be fairly close based on your speed to rev ratio.

On a drier or lighter oil condition, I'd say the Aggressive would actually have a little more backend because the Mean needs to have a higher density of oil to retain or conserve its energy.

Yes, the MB is next to the thumb. You hit the nail SQUARELY on the head! So that's why my Mean didn't look that strong in the backend, it was losing too much energy (the oil is not that heavy). I'm going to try the Aggressive in my league, under that I have the Artillery, Blast and EX (Desert for spares).

Hey Buck,(you're very welcome)

I helped explain this to a few guys here on BR cause the Mean does seem to need a little thicker oil to show it's true strength. Even if the lanes are freshly oiled and the density isn't very thick, the ball reaction can look very smooth in nature vs showing it's strength of a strong grabbing and very strong backend reacting ball. If the lane does not have enough oil, it appears to almost have the reaction properties of particle with its larger pore design.
