Mean Machine...where does it fit?

Now that I've weakened and pre-ordered a Mean Machine, where does it fit in an arsenal that includes a Robo Rule, and a GP2? Is it more of an oiler then the Robo, less, about the same? I have too many oilers now but I couldn't resist.

I drilled my Mean up identical to my favorite Robo..pin under fingers on centerline, 4 3/4 from PAP, 1 1/4 above midline, cg kicked out and the mass bias ending around 1 1/2 to 2 inches from my VAL...both are factory surface BUT the Rob has quite an amount of games on it. I tested them side by side (see my other thread) and the Robo seemed a tisker earlier and smoother at the break...if I softened the speed on the Mean, I knew it was going high, it made a sharp move at the break...carried very well from way inside, which with my end over end I usually hang TONS of 10s from inside. I think it is a few feet longer than the Robo and much stronger on the back.

Chuck,
The Mean Machine is not quite the oiler that the Robo is. The Robo seems to roll much sooner....though it is not as strong in the backend. The Mean Machine should be more than enough ball for most of the heavier league patterns a bowler will face.
I want to add this.....Where the Robo would handle a flood a tad better than the MM.....the MM is a much more versatile ball than the Robo. I have yet to attempt a coverstock change on the mean machine....but for a dull ball the length is there...the good read in the midlanes is there...and the backend is definately there.
I don't think the Robo or the Mean Machine are as strong in oil as the GP2. The GP2 is still the best ball I have seen for oil.

So...what is being said is a lineup for everyday league conditions of something like this shouldn't have too much overlap:
Robo Rule - heavy
Mean Machine - medium/heavy
Machine - medium (though on the heavy side)
Solution Power Plus Ex - medium/light
Desert Heat - dry
Flaming T spare ball
Is it possible, or wise, to try and substitute an Equation for the Solution Power Plus Ex in this lineup?
And for a Tournament condition condition - heavy oil?
GP-2
Robo Rule
Mean Machine
Machine
Desert Heat
Flaming T
Of course now I have to figure out where my Artillery fits into this....probably wait on getting the Equation drilled, but just had to have that ball...it looks and sounds so exceptional. Also...I have a NIB Animal to consider as well....not drilled but it was..."I have a chance to trade for this so do it and figure out where it fits later" type of thing. So...where does an Animal fit in all this?

I like both of your lineups, HOWEVER, what alomst everyone is forgetting about right now is the Inertia. I want to see where this ball fits with the new cover and new core.

The lineups you have up are pretty accurate.
As for the Animal....it is still one of my favorite balls....and it does fit differently than what you have listed.....adding an Animal would only be overkill on the heavier side of oil.
Clint is correct....the Inertia sounds very interesting and I am curious as to where it will fit.
I would also add the Equation or ARsenal Artillery in there below the Machine and above the SOlution EX.
Goodluck,
Carl

Well guys, I am still confused.
As Track has not put this ball on its website yet, is the coverstock reactive or particle?

Mean-reactive pearl..Fang LS control (nanothread)
Equation-reactive pearl...Goo LS (same cover as Xception)
Inertia-(from what I have heard)-dull particle-Peak Powerpack particle

Hey Chuck,
I get pretty much the same as the guys. It's a little longer then the Robo but much stronger and continuous on the backend. As I mentioned before, I still get this in very nice backend reaction between resin and particle.
