I need to replace my Voodoo
« on: December 24, 2006, 04:41:51 AM »
I'm looking for a ball to replace my Voodoo. I currently have a Black Widow and a Big Hit. I was thinking about trying out another Hammer or possibly another Storm product but I got such a good reaction from the Voodoo its hard to overlook Track.  I'm looking for a ball that will give me a nice smooth arc to the pocket. I throw the ball between 16 & 17 mph with above average revs. As of right now, I only bowl in one league but I am joining two more that start after the New Year.. I also want to start bowling tournaments once my game evolves a little more.

So far this is what has been recommended from other Forums

Storm: Spit Fire, Thunderstruck
Hammer: Toxic
Ebonite: Overtime
Elite: R43
Track ?

Inertia! I've heard it's very versatile.

While the Inertia is way stronger than the VooDoo, the Equation is just a notch stronger. Not sure what you'd do with a drill AND the surface to make it like the VooDoo, as the cover is too strong. The VooDoo with its messenger-type core and its solid/pearl combo was a unique ball to Track and every other line in its behavior.

The closest thing I can think of is a combo of the Solution PowerPlus Ex and the Hex. (and it was neither one of them.)

Hey hockey,

Agreed, the Inertia is stronger then the Voodoo.  I'd have to say in reaction sense, it is either our Heat Blast to Heat remake with some minor adjustments.
