Based on the layouts I have on both, the UpR goes longer than the S.E., but the S.E. hooks harder and retains more energy than the UpRising. Both have pin up drillings, but the S.E. has a 20* 20* layout where the UpR has a 60* 30*.
With the same layout, I'd give the S.E. the nod. I liked the Rising series, but I'll miss the Kinetic series the most, especially the K.E. With the layout I have on that one, it reads the midlane and backends harder than any piece I have.
With that said, I'm actually taking the layout on the K.E. and putting it on the S.E for the Heavy oil. I will keep the skid/flip layout on the UpR for the medium/heavy or carry down.

You may be the better bowler, but my car would blow the doors off of yours.
