Old Track ball, need some info

I have an old Track ball that's labelled as a "Hex Darkside". It's black and red coloured, and may be an international release. I've looked on this site, Tracks site and google searched but have had no luck. Does anyone have any info about this ball?

Another "mistake". They ran off 500 or so and it was never formally part of the Track family. It was supposed to be light particle pearl, I believe.

As per usual, some people loved it, some didn't. I bought one but sold it before I drilled it. The guy LOVED it.

It was a light to medium oil ball back then. Today, it is probably a light to medium-light oil ball, UNLESS you sanded it or have lots of revs.

Beautiful looking ball.
