Opinion Poll

OK, quick question:

What do you guys view as the best "bench mark" ball in Track's current line?

For me I see a few that are good, and out of them I have a difficult time picking just one.

I like the Freakazoid and Slash as the equipment to start with.

FYI---I am dangerous though, I cannot keep the GP2 out of my hands.

Guess for my game it would be the Rule. If I were to base this on most of the bowlers that I see throwing Track equipment in my area, it would be the Freakazoid.

I define benchmark as a ball that doesn't overreact to the lane, smooth at the break and can be used on a variety of conditions.  It's also symmetrical.  I think the Slash or FAZ would be the best choice.

On an average, I'd have to say the Freakazoid.  However, personally I have been encountering a fair amount of oil and with the versatility I can get with my GP2, it's the first ball out of my bag.  In 4 weeks, I've been able to put up 2 700's in the same house (which changes) but this tells me what's working for me there.

I use the Rule and the FAZ for my first two shots to read the lane and find the dry outside boards. If there's oil but the back end is jumping I will take out the Freak Out.

Freak-a-Zoid is my best guess-timate.
Slash is too early, in general.

My Havoc does an awesome job for me when I am crossing lanes. The ball tells me if I need something more or something less.

Guess its on the chopping block, so if I had to take one now (As the poll says...sorry!!!!) I would go with the original Rule. Pretty much does the same job as the Havoc, just stronger overall.
