Morpheus core.....any good?
« on: May 26, 2004, 02:38:48 AM »
When looking up info about my Dry Heat's core, I saw the "morpheus" core in some of the Track balls and thought that it looked quite interesting.(complicated?!) What's the general opinion about this core? Thanx-Brian

Hmmmm, well I will start by saying that its the best core being used in ANY line of bowling balls right now. You cant find a better core, wait, you cant find a better company!!!

Many will agree, not just Track heads. The Morpheus cores are the best in the business and there are so many things you can do with them to get different reactions out of any ball with a Morpheus core. Try one, I guarantee you will love it!!

The Morpheous.....OR any variation of it is the best core in the industry. You cannot controll a ball's reaction through drilling as much as you can a ball with that core.

It is extremely versatile also. In most cases if you like to change hand positions or releases these balls will sense that change and react accordingly for what you are trying to do.

OH....and these cores HIT. Nothing HITS like a ball that has this core.

Hmmm.....maybe I would like to try this core, BUT...does it come in a ball that would work for light or med. oil at most?

The only ball I can think of would be a Freak Out. The lighter load particle and polish should be a good match for medium conditions. Most everything else with a Morpheus core is dull or higher load particle and should be used on nothing less than a heavier medium.

NOTHING with the Morpheous is for dry. The coverstocks are just too strong for that. The FreakOut is probably the closest......and it still moves pretty good.

Hey Brian,

I can't agree more with what's been said.  These cores are by far the most versatile and stronger hitting I've dealt with to date.  Just make sure when you try one, communicate your wants on your ball reaction to your driller because the layout and placement of the mass bias on the Morpheus cores are EXTREMELY important in creating the desired reaction.

Just to let you and others know, I don't say these things just because I'm on staff.  I run a business and this is how I make a living.  If the product wasn't good, I wouldn't sell it...simple as that.  I NEED my customers to be happy and satisfied with whatever I select for them to get them to be return clients.

In addition to the Morpheus being a great design, Track offers a fantastic Customer Service enviroment to match.  If there's any info you can't get here from us on BR, just call them directly and they'll help you out.  Hope this gives you some additonal confidence in trying one of our products.  Feel free to pm me if you have any additional questions, thanks.
