HAVOC
« on: February 10, 2004, 12:20:05 AM »
I just wanted to say that the track havoc HOOKS alot. My track havoc drilled 3 3/8 pin above ring finger and the mass bias in the thumb hole cg in line with the pin slightly kicked out to the right no weight hole. The Havoc hooks more then all of my balls .......
Anomaly, crunchtime, black vendetta, cherry bomb, super charge, flipside wow pearl, hotwire, and Killer instinct sanded. If your looking for a big hooking ball for medium to heavy oil this would be a great choice, And the price of this ball is not bad at all .

my havoc certainly caught me by surprise.  I was looking for a ball to use as the benchmark / first ball out of the bag.  It has more length than I expected, and a very strong arcing back end.  the drill pattern is similar to yours with the pin above the ring finger and the mass bias to the right of the thumb, no weight hole.  It has made the rest of my equipment look weak, forcing me to re-evaluate my arsenal.

I am looking into the Havoc to be my "benchmark" ball. I am considering different layouts right now. I know you guys are saying it hooks alot, but with my ball speed I will probably need a stronger drill on it. I am curious if I should go with earlier roll or stronger backend reaction.

Currently I have nothing drilled leverage, and that is the layout I am considering for this ball.

Tenpinspro....any suggestions? If need be I will message you what I have and how I have it laid out.

Ex,

If it were me, only because this hooks quite a bit already, I would put a 4 by 4 layout on this.  Stacked leverage would probably get it going too early for a "benchmark" ball unless you have a very weak release.  If you have any revs on it, just make it somewhat a label drilling in it and polish it with Clean and Sheen to help it through the heads.

With my speed the ball usually clears the heads really easy, and my revs kick in once the ball gets through the first 35-38ft. I throw 320 rpms, so I do not have huge hand, but definately more than most.

What I want in a benchmark ball is something that does not snap real hard or roll real strong. A good mix between the two would be best.

I jack on the ball too, So I put a earlier roll drilling on the ball and it still hooked a ton on the back end. I came to the conclusion this ball is stronger then they are advertising. There is only one thing I want to try and that is what the other fellow said put some clean sheen on it and see what it does.

Man I love this ball, I just shot 830 in a PBA sport league. My games were 226 204 205 195. The shot was the sport pattern c, I had a very nice reaction playing a swing shot around 17 to 12 and the ball had no problem at all getting back to the pocket.

Hey guys,

Sorry I didn't get back to you Ex, still awaiting delivery....of Animal and Havoc.  I'd like to throw it first before I can honestly give any feedback.  It sounds more like a Menace rather then the NightHawk, I'll get back you guys. Thanks.

I know I have a quite a few of you waiting for my review but I still received the ball yet, sorry for the inconvenience.
