Ok guys, Ex drilled me up 2 Rules tonight.
The first one we hit with grey scotchbrite before we drilled it, we drilled it leverage pin 1" above the midline, MB 1" past the VAL an 4" from the PAP.
This ball likes to roll off my hand, roll in the midlane, and roll on the backends. I had to almost target the 10-pin (I'm a righty) to get the ball out far enough (although I was on a worn down house shot). I can see this Rule replacing my Animal for oil(although my Animal isn't drilled quite as strong), and I can even see using it once the shot breaks down since it has good recovery.
Rule #2
We hit it with the grey pad then put Magic Shine on it before the drill
Pin under the ring finger, MB left and under the thumb, pin 4" from PAP, and MB is 6+3/4" from PAP.
I really like the length this one gets, but the backend is what I really like about it. The Goo coverstock seems to be all Tracks says it is. Even with the Magic Shine, this ball makes the turn with plenty of hit. I can see using this ball alot on everything but floods and fried lanes. I've threw a few shots that felt like I forgot to hit the ball, and it still charged back.
So all in all I love both Rules so far. I'm sure they will both be great at the Masters.
(btw my stats are about 300RPM, 17.8MPH off my hand)
Hope this helps
