HEY CARL!

I have just a question though buddy! One of your Machine pictures, I cannot spot the pin at all...did you drill directly into the pin? Also, I can't tell where the pin is at on the Equation unless you drilled into that one as well...anyway, cool deal buddy! God Bless You and have a great week!

Michael,

The pin on the one Machine and the Equation are both in the ring finger. That is one of my favorite layouts.

What does your Angular do with the pin all the way over there?

The Angular with that layout is ultimate in control. It rolls early, and the backend is based solely on what the condition has to offer. It is very nice for house shots that have overreacting backends.

Nice pics, Carl.  I don't know your PAP, but it looks like your x-holes are all maybe on your VAL and pretty low (except for the Inertia), is that correct?  On your Mean Machine, where is the x-hole located measured from your PAP and also from the pin?  I've got a MM with the x-hole 1/4" below my PAP (4 1/2 x 1/4 up), and I was thinking of having the x-hole plugged and then placed either 2 1/4" or 3 3/8" beneath my PAP and on the VAL to try and get more pop at the backend, as it now sometimes tends to kind of lay-off at the backend.  If not below, what about past the PAP by the same amounts?  Do you think either of these would work?

The X holes are all either on VAL or slightly inside. The one on the Inertia is straight across my midline.
The Mean Machine's is 2 1/4 below my PAP. This placement seems to make most equipment more "dynamic" for most bowlers.

Cool. On your Artillery, did you polish it up? it looks pretty shiny to me.

No polish on the Artillery that is box. It was more the lighting that made the stuff look so polished. The Inertia was not that polished. Take a look at the part of the Artillery located towards the CG. That is the surface that is on the ball.

Thanks! What is your reaction on the Artillery? I'm thinking about putting some Clean n' Sheen on mine.

The reaction I get out of my Artillery is an early reving with a strong continuous motion on the backend. By no means do I mean "flip" when I say continuous, strong arc/flip motion. This ball is by far one of my favorites.
