Well, I thought I’d report in with my findings on my new MACHINE, of course you Trackers already know what type of ball you have here.
I have been throwing a Roto-Grip Epic and the Epic-Battle as my primary one- two punch, however, when my Epic-Battle starts to come in way to hard and its time to change to my Epic
I find that sometimes there needs to be what I would call something with a little more pop, if you will. My Epic is a very good ball but like I was just saying I have been wanting to throw something that I wouldn’t have to worry about it not making the turn.
This is where my new MACHINE comes in. I couldn’t believe my eyes with what I saw the MACHINE do. Good freaking grief, what a monster hook this has and plus the continuation this possesses. I am in loooooove.
Today in practice the lanes had a very light coat of oil on them but never the less a shot could be found if one was to keep moving until you found it. Well, my Epic was doing ok and my shot was standing on 19(I’m Rt.Handed) and throwing ‘tween the second and third arrow.
Since the lanes were not in the greatest condition my Epic would sometimes make the turn and then sometimes it wouldn’t, no problem I said to myself, as it was now my turn to try the MACHINE just to see what it can do.
So I stand with my Rt.foot on the 20 board and throw it over the same line as I had been doing with my Epic and to my surprise it goes long then hits the dry and 'BAM' a beautiful hard turning roll into the Brooklyn pocket…I just stood there and said, Oh-Baby!!! WOW!!
So the rest of the day I was just moving around with it to see what it would do, I’m more then very, very, pleased with it. I actually was standing on the 30 board (which I never do) and swinging it out far (far for me) which was to the right of the first arrow and watching the strikes come, the people all around me were thinking that I was some kinda Pro…heheh, it was the MACHINE!!
One thing that I found with this very powerful ball is that under the conditions that I had today I had to throw the ball fairly well ‘cause if I didn’t hit my mark and I went left of it I got some very interesting splits, different from my usual Epic splits. Before you ask I don’t know my PAP but I’ll try to post a picture of my MACHINE later on.
My pin is above my ring finger and I think a little to the right, maybe about 1:00, also 3 1/4,tw and 3.5-4"pin
sorry for the long post but I am freaking excited about my first Track ball.
