Trying to determine which blem I have
« on: April 02, 2007, 06:41:27 AM »
Picked up a Track blem X this weekend, and I am trying to determine which ball it is a blem of. It is a green pearl with black and only has the Track logo on it. The guy I bought it from said it was a blem because it had to much pearl additives. He also said it was an Arsenall aggressive, but to me the color scheme is not right for that. It looks as if it could be an Arsenal Artillery, Machine or Xception. Is there any way to tell for sure?

Is there a Mass Bias marking on the ball ?

If so, you can tell the Machine's MB marking from the Xception's.  If its an Arsenal it won't have one, but I guess if its a blem then its not certain there is a MB marking on the ball anyway.

I would guess that its a Machine, just judging by how you described the color.  Possibly the Artillery, but the Exception is much more blue/yellow when you see it.  You don't get a good idea of the colors juding from the pictures on this site.  Also, the Xception and Artillery aren't pearls, only the Machine is a pearl from the balls you listed.

I would say by the way you described it, that it is a arsenal artillery. The artil. is the only one of the three that has black in it. The artil is a pearl/solid blend. The machine is a particle pearl and the xception is a pearl reactive.

From what you are telling me, no, there isn't.  But I think that something is wrong.  If there is no model name (e.g. Machine, Arsenal Artillery, Equation) along with Track's logo, there's something weird about it for sure. Try and post a picture or a hyperlink to one.  I may be able to find out for you.

Artillary tends to be a very light grassy colored green where as the machines are more of a pine tree deep green.

I assume it has a serial number & USBC stamp (maybe too early since my Artillery does not have one)????
