Where's Tracks New Release Info?
« on: September 25, 2008, 09:31:33 AM »
I just figure since Ebonite, Columbia and Hammer all have there new releases in the works that Track would be soon to follow. The UpRising is such a great piece that I am anxiously awaiting something to replace the original Rising.

The late November ball will be just what you are asking for. The Rising replacement. It is now in production and has been fully tested and approved by me. I have listened to all the discussions about the Original Rising and some players got the ball to roll to soon and stop. This has been addressed with the new release. What you will find is a ball that clears the fronts and is incredibly angular on the backend of the lane, which fits our brand signature completely. Wish I could give you more details but it is a bit too soon. If the Track fans out there are truly looking for a different look on the lanes this ball will not disappoint. The World Wide Information date is 11/06/2008 so look for it on www.trackbowling.com.

Fig thanks for the information. I am really looking forward to this release. If it is anything like the UpRising we are in for a treat. I have had games of 299, 279 and 286 in three different houses with the UpRising this past week. What a great ball.

Thanks again for the info.

Dw23, When Ebonite aquired Hammer, How long did it take to truly get them into contention as another leading brand? Fig has got great forsight and innovation and is bringing this ball line to the front faster and with greater appeal to more bowlers. Just give it a few more months and Fig will have every angle covered for us Track fanatics!

Not going anywhere Steve. This is just left over frustration from the last few years under Columbia and first couple under Ebonite. I didn't want to see the same "New Technology Only" direction from track. I love the UpRising and I really like the Tantrum. Like many others in this forum I will be waiting anxiously.
